The Optical Crystals Days (JNCO), national every two-year meeting organized since 2003 within the framework of CNRS permanent training, concern both the methodology and the technology for elaborating, processing, micro-structuring and characterizing optical crystals. Those crystals find applications as laser emitters, frequency converters, electro-optical and acousto-optical modulators, photo-refractive components, scintillators, magneto-optical rotators, etc.
The JNCO conference gathers a large community from both the academy and the industry. The main aim is to exchange the know-how and to present works achieved within the network MRCT-CNRS CMDO+ (Bulk Crystals, Micro- and nano-structures, and Optical Systems), as well as latest news regarding materials and laser systems.
The JNCO propose invited talks and posters.
