Tailored Nonlinear Optics - from research to real life applications
Jeudi 5 novembre 2015
à 10h en salle C. Brot
In this talk I will discuss how nolinear optics has become an important part of photonics and how we now can tailor our light for th application we need it for. The focus will be on second order effects and the use of ferroelctric media for functionalization. The engineering aspect of nonlinear optics will contribute significantly to make the 21st century the year when photonics as a key enabling technology helps to address the big questions for mankind.
